 INSTRUCTIONS  TO  AUTHORS

GENERAL POLICY
INTERNATIONAL REVIEW OF ALLERGOLOGY AND CLINICAL IMMUNOLOGY (Int. Rev. Allergol. Clin. Immunol.) 
will consider for publication papers directly related to allergology and clinical immunopathology.

THE REVIEW WILL COMPRISE THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS:
Editorial and Review Articles.
Contributions from experts and specialists in the field, requested by the Editors.

Original Articles. Original research papers in allergy and clinical (experimental) immunology, as well as new forms of therapy for allergic and immunologic disorders, new applications of diagnostic and therapeutic methods.

Short Communications. Description of clinical cases reporting exceptional results or symptoms. Maximum length 2-3 typewritten pages, double-spaced, 1 figure and 1 table will be accepted, and references limited to maximum 10 positions.

PREPARATION OF MUNUSCRlPTS
Manuscripts should be prepared with computer technique (Word Programme) or typewritten, double-spaced with ample margins on all sides, and pages numbered. First mention of tables and figures should be indicated in the righthand margin of the text. Maximum length 15 pages.

Title page. Should contain the full title, a brief running titie, full name ot author(s), institutional affiliation of author{s), and name and mailling adresses of the author to whom all correspondence should be directed.

Summary. The major points of the article should be summarized in 150-250 words, in order of their appearance in the manuscript. Material or facts not cited in the text should not be included.

Key words. Three to five key words or brief phrases should be included after the Summary for indexing purposes.

References. All references should be numbered consecutively throughout the text or numbered in alphabetical order and enclosed in parentheses. Journal abbreviations should follow the norms of Current Contents. Author(s) name(s) should be followed by complete title of the paper,
abbreviated journal`s title, year, volume and first and last page number. When citing an article from a book, author(s) name(s) should be followed by complete title of the paper, title of book, 
volume number, editor(s) name(s), name and address of the publisher, year and first and last page numbers, e.g.:

Proofs. Page proofs will be sent to the author to whom all correspondence should be addressed unless otherwise specified by the authors. Proofs should be checked against the original. Authors will be charged for major alterations in the original text. Proofs not returned in time to meet publication date will either be rescheduled or published without authors' corrections, in which the Editors do not assume responsibility for any errors that might have been made in typesetting. (Proofs may be returned by fax).

Reprints. Twenty complimentary reprints will be given to authors. Additional reprints can be requested upon return of the order form which is sent with proofs.
